Kat knelt on the ground at the edge of the circle, the items she needed spread out in front of her. She was attempting a summoning. Why? To see what would happen.
She took the knife and pricked her thumb on it, letting blood drip into the silver cup. She placed the cup and knife on the grass in front of her.
"I call on you. Spirits of the other side. Will one of you speak to me. Will one of you answer my questions. By the powers of air and fire I call on you."
Now all she had to was wait. She settled down trying to get comfy on the damp grass, she could be here a while."
